A special morning assembly was conducted at Sri Guru Gobind Singh Collegiate Public School on Tuesday to mark the ongoing activities under the national campaign "Har Ghar Tiranga".
The programme commenced with the recitation of the School Shabad to seek the blessings of the Almighty. This was followed by a Tiranga Pledge, which was taken collectively by teachers and students with great patriotic fervour.
The highlight of the assembly was an interactive session with Col. J.P. Singh and Lt. Col. Reena Tanwar, an army personnel couple, who were invited as chief guests. They addressed the students on the opportunities and career prospects in the Armed Forces.
The students listened attentively and engaged enthusiastically by asking several questions after the lecture.
Ms. Amanpreet Kaur, Principal, expressed gratitude to the guests for sparing time from their busy schedules and inspiring the young minds.
The assembly concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
