Secretary's Message

The School has already completed 25 years service to society since its establishment, and is set to celebrate its Silver Jubilee this year. It is the youngest among Institutions of the Sikh Educaonal Society - which was established at Lahore in the year 1937-38. After having suffered a disruptive dislocation from Lahore after the Partition of India, the Society has set an indelible imprint on the education ?eld. It now has 4 Post Graduate Institutions, a Pharmacy College & 3 Senior Secondary Schools in Punjab & Chandigarh under its care and control. Sri Guru Gobind Singh Collegiate Public School - though youngest in the chain - has done itself proud by carving a niche for itself among the reputed schools at Chandigarh.

The list of Alumni of the School is star - studded with dozens of its former students holding prestigious position in Medical, Engineering & other professions. Two of them were recently selected for the coveted IAS. A large number of the students obtained CGPA-10 in the class 10 and above 90% marks in 10+2 examinations held by Central Board of Secondary Educaon (CBSE). Its Sports persons have distinguished themselves in games & sports.

The Management is aware of its responsibility to prepare the young kids and children seeking admission in our School, for higher achievements in the adult life. The Society has opened its Colleges and Schools with the professed aim of shaping and nurturing good cizens for our secular, socialistic and democratic country. We are aware that education is the bedrock of all the progressive and humane social systems. The principal and staff of the School are fully imbued with this spirit. They try to instill modern scienti?c temper, positive thinking lofty spirit, and noble ideas for which India and its diverse culture are known throughout its history.

The Management and its Institutions fully believe in the ideals of " ividAw ivcwrI qwˆ praupkwrI " i.e " Educaon is a great blessing " and " mwns kI jwq sBY eyky pihcwnbo " i.e. we are all children of God and should not accept or practice any distinctions of caste, creed or religion

I wish the School all the best for their bold ventures, exuberant spirit and dedication to the cause of education, with a view to serve the society.
